I have written some poems about/inspired by Autumn which I did at the creative writing workshop run by Giulietta M Spudich.

Here are the two poems:

poem picture!

Dance of Change.

by Hetty Monksea.

sweat soaked, I continue to twirl,

delicate conker shines like a pearl,

Spinning circles, I leap and jump

cracking leaves sounds like thump, thump,

popping and locking a pull out a freeze,

as winds howl and shift a cold-biting breeze.

Autumn Arrives

Autumn Arrives.

by Hetty Monksea

Autumn arrives, falling in

falling in,

dry leaves crunch as death departs them. conker hits

conker in a game of mad twirls

Autumn arrives, falling in

falling in,

smoke sizzles as logs burn and oversized jumpers are

drawn against the cold winds

Autumn arrives, falling in

falling in

Thanks for reading,
