This poem is beautiful, a true prayer to the earth. I loved and felt so connected to it, it touched something deep for me today.
These sounds amazing and something I would love to explore within my own writing.
A beautiful, strong, and deeply-moving poem that will stir up anyone who reads it and encourage them to stand up for themselves as they are.
A great work.
I loved this story so much. A beautiful once that explores a sense of growing up and finding home.
A wonderful thought-provoking poem. Makes me think of Atwood's "The City Planners." which I recently read and if you haven't please do!
I have written some poems about/inspired by Autumn which I did at the creative writing workshop run by Giulietta M Spudich.
Here are the two poems:
Dance of Change.
by Hetty Monksea.
sweat soaked, I continue to twirl,
delicate conker shines like a pearl,
Spinning circles, I leap and jump
cracking leaves sounds like thump, thump,
popping and locking a pull out a freeze,
as winds howl and shift a cold-biting breeze.
